USAGE REMINDER – READ BEFORE USE
This product is pressure-activated and works best indoors or in shaded, temperature-controlled environments. It will not cool effectively if it has been exposed to direct sunlight, a hot car, or any warm environment. The pad will absorb the heat around it, making it ineffective until cooled down.

DO NOT leave it in: 

• A hot car
• Direct sunlight

If you're using it in a car that’s been parked in the heat, place a towel or blanket on the seat first before setting the pad down. This prevents it from immediately absorbing heat from the hot surface. If you're camping or traveling in an RV, we recommend storing the pad in an air-conditioned area or cooler kept in the shade to help maintain its effectiveness when needed.

To reactivate cooling: Always bring it indoors and let it return to room temperature. It will naturally reset—no water, fridge, or electricity needed.

For a jump start on cooling, you can put it in the refrigerator or even the freezer!

Returns, Replacements & Warranty Information

Returns

We accept returns only for products purchased directly from thegreenpetshop.com.

Eligible returns must meet all of the following requirements:

• Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery
• New and unused
• In the original product packaging
• In original, sellable condition

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We do not provide prepaid return shipping labels for defect-free returns.

Products that are scratched, stained, chewed, covered in pet hair or fur, damaged, soiled, or otherwise show signs of use are not eligible for return or refund.

If you are purchasing a Cool Pet Pad, we recommend using a cover or placing a lightweight sheet over the pad while determining whether your pet likes it. This helps keep the product in returnable condition.

Please do not return used items unless you have been specifically instructed to do so by our Customer Service team.

If a non-returnable item is returned to us, it is not eligible for a refund. We can either:

• Dispose of the item at no charge, or
• Return the item to you at your expense.

Returns are only accepted for purchases made directly through thegreenpetshop.com. If you purchased your product through another retailer or website, please contact that retailer directly regarding their return policy.

Refunds

For approved returns received within 14 days of delivery that meet our return requirements, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the item.

Please note:

• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days after we receive and inspect your return.

We recommend using a shipping service with delivery confirmation when returning merchandise.

• Your order number
• The item(s) you are returning
• The reason for the return

Please package your return carefully. We cannot issue refunds for merchandise that is damaged during return shipping.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you would like a different item, simply place a new order. Once we receive and approve your eligible return, we will refund the original item in accordance with our return policy.

Final Sale & Clearance Items

All Final Sale and Clearance items are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or store credit.

Please note:

• Warranties do not apply to Final Sale items.
• Any Final Sale or Clearance items returned to us will be donated and are not eligible for a refund.

By purchasing a Final Sale item, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you believe your item is defective upon opening, please contact us within 14 days of delivery using our Contact Us form or by emailing Customer Service.

In many cases, defective items do not need to be returned in order to receive a refund or replacement.

Each claim is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If We Made a Mistake

If we shipped the wrong item, we'll make it right.

We will provide a prepaid return shipping label and reship the correct product at no additional cost to you.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order because of a promo code issue, please contact customerservice@thegreenpetshop.com for a price adjustment instead of placing a new order.

Warranty Information

The Green Pet Shop warrants to the original consumer that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable warranty period (which varies by product) from the original date of purchase.

Our liability under this warranty is limited to replacement of the product.

This warranty is void if damage results from:

• Accident
• Improper or unreasonable use
• Neglect
• Tampering
• Any cause unrelated to defects in materials or workmanship

Cool Pet Pad Warranty

The Green Pet Shop is not responsible for rips or tears that are not reported immediately upon opening the package.

Within 14 days of delivery, we will replace a Cool Pet Pad with rips or tears for 50% of the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) when:

• Photos of the damage are submitted, and
• The claim is approved.

Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling costs.

The Green Pet Shop is not responsible for rips or tears that were not noticed immediately after opening the package.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please email customerservice@thegreenpetshop.com for return authorization.

Please include:

• Your original dated proof of purchase

• Photos of the issue (when applicable)

Please refer to the product instructions before submitting a warranty claim, as damage resulting from improper use is not covered.

Shipping Protection

Purchase Protection is an optional service available at checkout that protects your order against loss, theft, or damage during shipping.

Once an order has shipped, Purchase Protection is considered used and is non-refundable, even if the order itself is later returned.

What does Purchase Protection cover?

• Lost packages
• Damaged packages
• Stolen packages

How do I purchase it?

Simply select Purchase Protection during checkout before placing your order.

How do I file a claim?

If you purchased Package Protection, you can file a claim through our Package Protection provider.

You may choose either:

How much does it cost?

The cost varies based on your order total.

When is a package considered lost?

If tracking has not updated for 5 consecutive days, your shipment is considered lost in transit and you may file a claim.

How long do I have to file a claim?

Claims must generally be submitted within 30–45 days of the shipment date, depending on the claim type.

What if I declined Package Protection?

Customers who opt out of Package Protection acknowledge that The Green Pet Shop is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged after shipment.

If an issue occurs, please file a claim directly with the shipping carrier. If you need assistance, our Customer Service team is happy to guide you through the process.

WARNING: This product is not meant for consumption. While the gel is non-toxic, we always recommend taking your pet to the veterinarian if they ingest any part of the Cool Pet Pad. In some cases, a sensitivity or adverse reaction may occur, which can affect the health of your pet. If your pet is prone to chewing or excessive scratching, DO NOT leave it unattended with the Cool Pet Pad.

DO NOT LEAVE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT, HEAT, OR HOT AIR. This will heat the pad and affect its cooling performance. For best results, use indoors or in shaded, temperature-controlled areas. The mat will not cool effectively if it has absorbed heat from the environment (e.g., hot car or sun-exposed surfaces).
